| maximas. I think they could make a no-shit sport sedan out of it (detuned GTR motor anyone? AWD maybe?) and leave the luxury sport 3-series-fighter class to the G35 and the fwd family car class to the altima. It doesn't have to erode G35 sales. there was a time when it was Nissan's premiere sedan. With the G35 doing what it does so well, and the altima doing what it does so well and with such versatility, it would seem the opportunity for Nissan to offer a Maxima that makes people's reaction "wow, what a car" is literally begging and pleading to be taken. But instead they are going to continue on with this weird purposeless fwd sedan that has been obsolete for nearly ten years. The Maxima used to be an undeniable cut above every other sedan close to its price range.
